This Privacy Policy explains how I, Manan Jain, an independent video editor (
1. Information I collect
Contact details you send me through the contact form, by email or on social media, such as your name, email address, phone number and company.
Booking details you enter when you schedule a call through Calendly.
Project information you share, including briefs, footage, audio, brand assets and feedback.
Contract and billing details needed to prepare agreements (signed through PandaDoc), invoices and payments. Card and bank details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by me.
Usage data collected automatically, such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location, through the website host and any analytics tools.
2. How I use it
To reply to enquiries and schedule calls
To prepare proposals, contracts and invoices, and to deliver the work
To keep records required for tax, accounting and legal purposes
To understand how the website is used and improve it
To protect my rights, prevent misuse and resolve disputes
I rely on your consent, the steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, my legitimate interests in running my business, and legal obligations.
3. Sharing
I do not sell or rent your personal information. I share it only with services that help me run my business, such as the website host (Framer), scheduling (Calendly), e-signature (PandaDoc), email, file-transfer, invoicing and payment providers, and only as far as needed. I may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect my legal rights.
4. International transfers
Because I work with clients in many countries and use online services, your information may be processed outside your country. When that happens, I rely on the safeguards those providers offer.
5. How long I keep it
I keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and project, contract and billing records for as long as tax and legal rules require. Footage and project files are kept only for a limited time after delivery, as set out in the project agreement, and are then deleted.
6. Security
I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, object to or restrict how I use it, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email me at hey@mananja.in. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
The website and its host may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions and basic analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
9. Other websites
This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, X and Calendly. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
10. Children
My services are for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its updated date.
